If you’re using the site properly, then you realize there is a search function available to type in terms and see which blogs they that keyword may have been mentioned in.
I am writing another post today but I will also link a prior post with the same title, Authenticity.
The intent behind this share is to be brief but touch points that were missed in that piece.
Authenticity is about awareness more than anything. If you’re being authentic, you’re not thinking about how to be. There’s a difference between preparing/rehearsing and presenting/acting.
Don’t let those differences go over your head. You’re unique and you cannot continue to suppress who you are by worrying about others perception. If you’re so worried about fitting in or being the person you want to become, now, then you’re going to continue to come off inauthentic.
The issue grows deeper when you do not develop a definite aim that you believe in. If you cannot believe in yourself, and believe in the outlines you created for what you want to be or what you want to offer, then you’re going to fall into patterns that do not serve your continued growth.
To grow, you have to attach your present self to the person you are becoming, not the person that cannot become that, or the person that is being held back emotionally.
You have to take what you’re afraid of, the person you are, and take that into every cell within, bring it out and don’t care what anyone thinks. There is a saying I’ve heard recently, I won’t quote verbatim, but I will paraphrase.
In three generations, everyone who ever knew you will be dead. Don’t let the 22 people that are in your environment prevent you from providing your gifts to the billions who need you.
I definitely added in my own take but it’s the raw truth. Your parents will be dead before you, god willing, and that’s a terrible truth but would you rather they lose you first?
Moving away from the dark shit, they gave birth to you hoping you would become everything you dreamed you would be. They wanted you to become a bright, unique person, one that impacts the world, one that has a dream they chase, one that wants them to live a beautiful life, and in many cases, they want to provide you the opportunity to live a life that was better than their own. In some of those cases, they even sacrifice greatly for you, saving for college, working 2-3 jobs to make sure you have hot water to shower and breakfast. Something to eat when you get home.
Do not let their efforts live through you unknown. Take the love you’ve been given and chase the greatness that is already within, the part of you that comes to life the moment you begin to think about it. That is you, the Authentic you.
Cheers, happy Saturday. Don’t sit too much 💹🇺🇸🏋️
