I wanted to take a moment to share some thoughts I was having behind intention.
What it means and how to cultivate intention into reality
In actuality, intention is this easy to grasp concept. Theory is everything with me. It’s why I love the things I do, they allow you to exercise theory and see the results behind it. It also allows me to share things in real time or create in real time. Depends how I’m exercising my abilities, on or offline.
The thing that should be apparent, with this platform, is the Intention to discuss meaning behind things. Grasp new perspectives from how I take things in, and in my hopes, you are either grabbing onto new ideas, new confidence, or really nothing new because everything I share is already within you.
With Intention however, it’s a lot like integrity, which I heard a great definition of Integrity through listening to this podcast. Essentially the way Jim defines Integrity is as ‘the courage to confront reality’.
This makes a lot of sense, but how does it tie to Intention?
It’s what many Intentions lack. Courage to confront reality.
Basically, we can say, well I meant to do this or I intended to do that but that is the issue. You didn’t have the courage to confront the reality of maintaining the intention.
I hope you all caught that. Now if we perpetually break our intentions, what is the fix?
Preparation. No one is going to prepare you for anything but you. Sure, take some advice from your guru or parents. They’re still not you. This brings us back to drafts. If you’re not actively preparing for fulfilling your intentions, then it’s going to be hard to be approaching your intentions with the freshest set of intentions.
The whole conclusion is this
If you want your intentions to be fulfilled, you must be actively prepared to uphold them, indefinitely. You cannot let anyone or anything shift your intentions.
This does mean some force won’t try and stop you along the way. And maybe some of you should be stopped? It depends on how open you are with your true intentions, with yourself. I don’t care what you believe, no ones true deep down intentions are harm. No ones deep down intentions are any sort of negativity or malevolence. Let go.
If you hold true intentions within, or you have yet to identify those, but are on the path to, then you will be able to gravitate more actively to your desires. You cannot hold onto them with a deathly grip, but practice aggressive patience. I.E. get after that shit.
