I won’t take much from your productivity. Wanted to share a couple thoughts I was having this morning, in relation to the title. Let’s begin.
Mindset
We have the ability to have a positive mindset in life, this looks like optimism. A negative mindset, you’re typically bitching more than you should. You likely know both sides of the coin like I do. Neither is easy. The idea is to maintain a positive mindset, but it’s not easy. It’s simple. We’re battling human nature, at the end of the day, which means it’s better to be on the advance, conquering new territory and pillaging the villages of negative mindset. Now for me, to advance, some brief bullet points on positive mindset.
Think about the next step, always. Don’t leap off cliffs without safety equipment.
Handle roadblocks and difficulties with a solutions based approach.
Continuously exercise negative thought out of your mind, scratch it upon origin.
Avoid tangling the thread of thought, be consecutive in your thoughts.
Discipline
With discipline, it is a fu**ing bull. You’re either in the stands watching the bull riders or you’re powdering your hands and grabbing on for dear life. For the rush. It’s not easy. Everything is hard as fuck. Accept it. Be a glutton for punishment. Do what you need to do, everyday. That’s discipline. It doesn’t care about you, it’s a magic unicorn in the wind.
We can have a negative discipline of eating like crap and drinking random beverages, between caffeine, nicotine, and other ‘crutches’, in most cases, we passively disrupt our chapel without conscious awareness, addiction. The reality. To reach positive disciplines, we again, have to move ahead with what is simple. Not Easy. Hard. In the name of concluding promptly, here are examples of simplicity, which is the key to brilliance.
Drink enough water each day, the right water. Distilled, Reverse Osmosis, Spring, Kangen. Whatever your preferred method, intake at least 64-128oz a day.
Eat properly. Whole foods, salads, soups. Smoothies can join this mix. GBOMBs is great for those that are more vegan focused. OMAD (one meal a day) is another wonderful concept for some people.
Exercise daily. If you’re actively detoxing then take it light, some walks, rucksacking, etc. If you’re building muscle or inclined to be in the gym, puch/pull/legs has been effective for me to rotate when working out daily 45+Min
Stretch. Whether you sign up for a local yoga class or practice at home, it’s important to make sure you’re actively keeping your muscles stretched.
Read a book everyday, whether at night or in the morning or at lunch, get in 10+ pages a day and stay active in growing your mind/skills.
Now for what’s incredible
When we take positive mindset and intertwine it with the bullet points of discipline, we now have a harmonious alignment that creates the reality we desire. We can now begin to see the dreams and ideas we have reach their moments. The goal now is the maintain the momentum, and to do that, you maintain the disciplines + mindset. You give words like lack, can’t, don’t futility.
