it’s the first thing that you consume that is the most important part of Braking Fasts.
Well first of all, it’s midnight, I’m on 4 hours of sleep and going to sleep so fucking good in a minute after I schedule this drool.
The reason for this? I move off energy and not time. I was not ‘tired’ throughout the day, I got up and got shit done that needed to get done, all fucking day.
I didn’t wait for the alarm, the sun got me, and as a result, being ‘sleep deprived’ isn’t real.
Optimizing for 5 hours of sleep a night is about deep sleep rather than length of sleep.
You’re resting, why are you taking someone else’s clocks or concepts to determine what is right for you when you can recalibrate your circadian rhythm quite easily by making better decisions about your consumption.
Overall, I am really tired, that’s the point of the post. Work yourself to failure daily and you won’t fail. You’ll rest better and begin to see the patterns that will fall into alignment with your definite aim. Don’t let go of the definite aim and you’ll never fail. It’s simple math. Not some fucked up financial model that makes no sense like rise48.
Drool only does back of the envelope math to make decisions. You should too. Efficiency and certainty are the only ways to get to your aims. That doesn’t mean being certain all the time, it means being open to instruction and finding ways to pursue what it is that is laid out for you to take advantage of, THROUGH ENERGY.
If you let the clock tick, it’ll tick you down into a grave that you’re not ready for but that you created through the compounding nature of pour decisions.
So next time you realize there’s a hole in your bucket, make yourself whole, and say fuck it. I gotta go again because I fucked up the last 12 months by directing my energy towards all the things that extract it.
